Todd Johnson is the owner, Chairman, President and CEO of Reuben Johnson & Son, Inc. and its affiliated companies based out of Duluth-Superior. Since its inception in 1956, the company has acquired a total of eight different companies including RJS Construction Group, LLC, Johnson Materials Company, RJS Real Estate Group, LLC, Fraser Shipyards, Inc., Northern Engineering Company, Energy Systems Company, Inc., Chris Jensen & Son Company, Inc. and Charter Films, Inc. The privately-held diversified company has interests in commercial and highway construction, construction services, district energy, banking, shipyards, plastic films, real estate development, machining and manufacturing. Todd oversees all aspects of the business with emphasis on operations and financial management. He regularly attends continuing education classes and seminars at various universities including Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, Carlson School of Management, and the Columbia School of Business.

A resident of Duluth, Minnesota, Todd serves on numerous industry and civic boards including the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, 9th District, the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation and the New Business Incubator, Superior Business Center. He achieved a summit of 14.410 feet in 1974 on Mount Rainer in Washington. He is the recipient of the Sam Walton Business Leader Award, David A. Martin Entrepreneurial Leadership Award (UMD) and the LABO Award.
